Always super fun to come to Paris, partly for business, partly for pleasure.

Because I had a couple of days extra, I came a bit sooner to the city of lights before the actual shoot day on Saturday. 

I finally got to see Merci and boy, this is SO my store. For me, it's a mix of several shops in Antwerp, mixed and poured out into 1 space.

Imagine Bellerose, Graanmarkt, STAY and Barnini all together ; how cool sounds that ?

Yeah, I know .. meanwhile I enjoyed this fabulous weather and spent most of my time outdoors. 

Keen going back this Spring or maybe sooner, if another lovely couple wants their save-the-date-card-pictures taken at the Tour Eiffel too.

Pate de Fruits

I just love these sweets and their colors ; they look so inviting and would match perfectly

my grandmother's china. Pâte de fruits look so chic and delicate : with flavors such as rose petals and peach, you just can't go wrong. 

I'd love to dedicate the next couple of blogs to typical Autumn sweets.

This is a special assignment ; this girl wants an actual visual update of every

stage of her tattoo sleeve. First we captured the lining, the picture above shows us the coloring and shading of the flowers. 

Doesn't always have to be about weddings, birthdays or families ; I'm pretty excited about projects like this too. 

I'm a big fan of (shooting) hands ; young hands, old hands, freckled hands, 

strong manly hands, well manicured hands, weatherbeaten hands ..

I had a blast today ; loved these 2 brothers ! They did such a great job posing for me today.

Fall brings also great opportunities ; the leafs, the nuts and trees .. 

I now remember why Fall is my absolute fave season.

Special moments in people's life are not always about a wedding or having a baby. When India got inked last week, she wanted to have something to remember that experience. It's the 1st of a series 'getting tattood' and more pictures will follow as the sleeve on her arm will be finalised along the way.

Tom and Mercedes' wedding party took place at a Moulin Rouge inspired theme café.

Their colorful and beautiful friends posed happily for me even though the venue was hot ; jazzy music filled the room and drinks flowed abundantly. 

I've edited the images in this way they got a cinematic feel and vibe, keeping that Baz Luhrmann movie in mind.
